Mar 31, 2020: [USA] In light of the COVID-19 pandemic it is important that we reach out to ASEC partners, supporters and beneficiaries to communicate our deep care and support.

Since Sr. Anastasia received her Bachelor’s of Clinical Science via ASEC's Scholarship program, she's been serving in a rural place providing professional healthcare to patients who otherwise would not have access to treatment.

Mar 30, 2020: [Zambia] Sr. Anastasia provides obstetric, gynecological and surgical treatment to patients who would otherwise have limited to no access to medical care.

In celebration of their academic success, Bigwa students received the gift of 10 desktop computers from ASEC donors so they can continue to excel in their studies. As you can see, the students are so grateful to our donors!

Bigwa Secondary School in Tanzania achieves academic excellence

Mar 23, 2020: [Tanzania] Bigwa Sisters Seminary Secondary School receives “Most Improved Schools” award for high academic performance.

The grant will be used for education scholarships for Catholic Sisters in Africa; especially those working in fields related to healthcare and teaching.

ASEC's Scholarship Program expands to Ghana

Mar 16, 2020: [Ghana] ASEC will now fund scholarships for Catholic Sisters in Ghana who wish to pursue degrees and training for special education.

Srs. Gisele and Lucy developed a project to serve families living in urban poverty in the slums of Kenya. The project focuses on microloans for women, small business development and education of at-risk children.

Mar 9, 2020: [Kenya] Srs. Gisele and Lucy are using the skills they learned in ASEC's SLDI program to provide microloans for Kenyan women living in urban poverty.

Through the foundation of their education, ASEC and SLDI alumnae consistently provide a stable foundation for the building up of other women and their surrounding communities. Here, SLDI alumna Sr. Judith Mwango, FMDM, is winnowing with local women farmers in Zambia.
