Jun 27, 2013: [Tanzania] Our friends from Marywood University have donated $1,160 to ASEC to support the education of girls to attend the Bigwa Secondary School in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Jun 27, 2013: [Tanzania] ASEC was awarded a grant in May 2013 from the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago for Bigwa scholarships.
Apr 30, 2013: [Tanzania] ASEC has been awarded a $50,000 grant by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago (FSC) for its Bigwa Secondary School Scholarship Program.
Nov 30, 2012: [Tanzania] Congratulations to the 2012 Bigwa Secondary School scholarship recipients.
Mar 15, 2011: [Tanzania] Funding was generously provided by the GHR Foundation out of Minneapolis, MN. A total of $458,222 in funding for the Bigwa Secondary School was was generously provided by the GHR Foundation to build labs for physics, chemistry, and biology and to upgrade science and math curriculum.
Mar 15, 2010: [Tanzania] The goal of this project is to raise the classification of Bigwa Secondary School in Morogoro, Tanzania, from the "O" (ordinary) to the "A" (level). This will enable the sister graduates to apply for higher education.
