Sep 13, 2013: [Tanzania] On July 25, 2013 a Framework of Reference was signed between ASEC and St. Augustine University - Tanzania (SAUT) creating the second partnership in higher education for the HESA program.

Aug 28, 2013: [none] The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation awarded the African Sisters Education Collaborative and Marywood University a $3.85 million grant for the Higher Education for Sisters in Africa (HESA) project.

Jul 29, 2013: [Kenya] ASEC signed a framework of reference with Tangaza University College, marking the third partnership in higher education for the ASEC program.

Apr 30, 2013: [none] In August 2013, ASEC was awarded a grant for the educational advancement of our Higher Education for Sisters in Africa (HESA) program.

A total of 18 sisters from Kenya and Uganda attended the 3-week HESA orientation for Marywood University. The orientation took place at Chemi Chemi Center in Nairobi, Kenya from November 26-December 14, 2012.
