ASEC to Host "A Night of Storytelling: Creativity" Fundraiser

African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) is hosting the fundraising event, A Night of Storytelling: Creativity, on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at Marywood University’s Fireplace Lounge in Nazareth Hall from 6:30-8:30 pm

Guests will be inspired and invigorated by the stories of guest speakers, who will share their experiences through personal narratives.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to ask the featured speakers questions and enjoy complimentary dessert and coffee during the event.

This event is free and open to the public. 

Funds will be raised through the purchase of 50/50 and basket raffle tickets. 50/50 Tickets can be purchased online, by visiting ASEC offices in Emmanuel Hall at Marywood University, by calling (570) 340-6089, or by emailing [email protected]

Tickets will be $5 for the general public and $1 for Marywood University Students. Individuals who wish to support the fundraiser but not attend the event may purchase tickets virtually to contribute to ASEC’s fundraising goal and enter for their chance to win the 50/50 raffle. Guests are not required to be present to win the 50/50.


Basket raffle tickets as well as a door prize are available to attendees only. A ticket is not required for entry. Purchases can be made digitally until Wednesday, April 24th with tickets available at the door the night of for cash or check.
