Sr. Florence is a Catholic Sister who has been in the forefront of uplifting the dignity and empowerment and emancipation of women. She has served as NCWR’s National President since 2013, and was recently re‐elected as Superior General, Congregation of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus – a position she has held since 2012. Sr. Florence also held positions as General Councilor with Congregation of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, also in Nigeria (2002‐2004). Sr. Florence has a deep commitment, passion and expertise in human trafficking. She is an attorney by trade and began her career in Benin City in Benin as a legal practitioner. She holds law degrees from Benin and Nigeria, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Benin and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) degree also from the University of Benin.
