ASEC: Our Team

Sr. Ursula Netty Mutakha, LSOSF (RIP)

Sr. Ursula is a member of the congregation Little Sisters of St. Francis (LSOSF) in Kenya. She was pursuing her masters degree at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) through ASEC's HESA program, when she fell ill. 

Sr. Ursula took ill while attending to her studies (working on her research). She was admitted and undergoing treatment at Mater hospital when she succumbed to COVID-19 complications on the evening of Monday, June 28. Sr. Ursula was laid to rest on Thursday July 1, 2021 in Nakuru. We pray for the comfort of Sr. Ursula's congregation, family, friends and peer students during this difficult time.
