ASEC has been awarded a $50,000 grant by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago (FSC) for its Bigwa Secondary School Scholarship Program.

ASEC and Marywood University were awarded a grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation to continue delivering the Sisters Leadership Development Initiative (SLDI) program.

Phase II of SLDI (2010-2012) served 250 women religious from 176 congregations in seven countries. Of the 250 women religious, 237 successfully completed the course and graduated in colorful, well-attended ceremonies held in each country.
