Courageous Voices: Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration at Villanova University is partnering with the Africa Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) on their Regional Conference on Refugees and Migrants in Our Common Home at Tangaza University in Nairobi, Kenya.
ASEC is visibly presented in this conference by Dr. Mary L. Gautier; ASEC’s Vice Chair, and Chair-Elect of the ASEC Board, as Keynote Speaker and presenter in the Conference. Additionally, nine Alumni of ASEC have been selected to present at the conference and showcase their frontline work and mission to the most vulnerable.
This conference, a global initiative led by Villanova University, provides an important platform for Dr. Mary Gautier and the sisters to elevate their voices and those they serve on a global stage. Through their active participation in the conference on Refugees and Migrants in Our Common Home, they will share firsthand experiences, best practices, and innovative approaches to serving the most vulnerable communities, while contributing to the broader global dialogue on migration, human dignity and social justice.
ASEC is proudly associated with the Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration at Villanova University, and for partnering with ASEC to create an opportunity for the Catholic sisters (ASEC Alumni) to give voice to the great impact and transformation the service of the sisters has had on the people they serve in Africa.
