Sr. Teresa Mulenga, TS
Programs Coordinator – MalawiAreas of Expertise: Teaching, policy planning and leadership, research, guidance, counseling
Sr. Teresa Mulenga is a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus (Teresian Sisters). She holds a Master’s Degree in Education Policy, Planning, and Leadership, having recently completed her studies. She also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Her areas of expertise include teaching, policy planning and leadership, research, guidance, and counseling. Sr. Teresa has a diverse professional background, including roles as a Lecturer with the Ministry of Education in Malawi, a Hospital Drug Administrator with the Ministry of Health in Malawi, and a Projects Coordinator with the Mirjam Foundation in the Netherlands.
Her interests include reading, writing, coordinating projects, and facilitating workshops. She is dedicated to uplifting the lives of vulnerable groups such as orphans, individuals with disabilities, and those affected by HIV/AIDS. Sr. Teresa is also passionate about environmental conservation and the empowerment of women and girls.
Her mottos are: “Do to others what you would like them to do to you” and “Do good always and never grow tired of doing what is right.”
