Sr. Lydia Wanjiku, NSA
Programs Coordinator – Kenya
Lydia is a member of Nazareth Sisters of the Annunciation, Kenya. She has specialized in finance with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Bcom) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She has served as a bursar in various communities from 2006 to 2011. During this time she was also a member of community Finance and planning team, and was influential in budgeting and periodic budget review for local communities. Thereafter, she served as an accounts clerk at Egoji Teachers Training College as well as a board member in the procurement board.
She holds a diploma in Business Administration and Certified Public Accountant level II. Currently she is serving as the ASEC programs Coordinator Kenya.
Her primary interest is in Leadership and innovation, Business Strategy, investment planning, financial planning resulting in financial sustainability of projects. Last year she participated in E4IMPACT Challenge at Tangaza University College and won a Scholarship from PMS – USA. She is a HESA – CUEA Alumnus. Currently, she is enrolled for an MBA in Social entrepreneurship at the Catholic University of Milan.
