Sr. Kwanele Sibanda, AMR
Director - Zimbabwe
Sr. Kwanele Sibanda AMR is a dedicated member of the Congregation of Ancillae Mariae
Reginae, also known as the Servants of Mary the Queen. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Social
Science (Honours) in Counselling from Zimbabwe Open University, she combines her
academic background with a rich professional experience.
Sr. Kwanele has committed herself to religious life by serving in various roles, including as a
teacher and bursar. Her profound dedication to her congregation was evident during her ten
years as a Novice Director, where she was instrumental in guiding and mentoring new
members. Additionally, she served on the general council for six years, contributing to the
strategic direction and governance of her Congregation.
Sr. Kwanele is thrilled to join the ASEC staff as the newly appointed Programs Coordinator
for Zimbabwe. In this role, she looks forward to leveraging her strong leadership, effective
communication skills, and team-building experience to enhance the programs and support the
mission of ASEC. With her deep commitment to service and education, she aims to make a
meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves.
