Sr. Vanaja is a member of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She participated in ASEC’s Sisters Leadership Development Initiative (SLDI) Program in 2014 and 2015, Cameroon, Administration Track.

Sr. Vanaja received the “2017 Hero Acting Modern Slavery Award” in recognition of her unrelenting efforts to combat modern slavery
