The 2023 HESA Partners Conference took place in Nairobi, Kenya from June 13-17th.
The 2023 HESA Partners Conference took place in Nairobi, Kenya from June 13-17, 2023. US and Africa staff joined representatives from the 24 colleges/universities that ASEC partners at the Sarova Panafric Nairobi Hotel.
The theme of the conference was Mission of a Catholic University in the 21st Century.
The goals of the conference were to discuss the HESA program, network, and learn about institutional culture, mission, and values as a Catholic colleges/universities.
Facilitation was provided by Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, CM, EdD President of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities & Michael James, PhD Director of the the Institute for Administrators in Catholic Higher Education and Resident Minister at Boston College.
US staff and US partner representatives also completed site visits during the trip (April Fowlkes, Chestnut Hill & Jim Sullivan, Marywood). Pictures have been uploaded to the Photo Share, see link.
