Areas of Expertise: Development, fundraising, planned giving

As the Director of Mission Advancement, I am excited to work alongside Sister Draru and the wonderful staff. On a daily basis, I will oversee all aspects of Development and Fundraising including Major and Planned Giving, Appeals, Events, Marketing and Communications, along with our digital footprint on Social Media.

While I was going through the interview process, it was evident to me that ASEC would be a wonderful place to work. The mission focused staff, along with the leadership of the organization, made it an easy decision to come and work here.

My background is in Catholic Fundraising having worked at the Diocese of Joliet and Our Sunday Visitor. At the Diocese of Joliet, I was responsible for Major Donors, The Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal, along with Stewardship Programs for 130 parishes and missions. At Our Sunday Visitor, I was a consultant helping parishes and dioceses reach their true stewardship potential.

On a personal note, my wife of 34 years, Julie and I live in Plainfield, Illinois which is a suburb of Chicago. We have two adult children and one grandchild. When not working, we love to travel, spend time with the kids, cook and relax in our backyard. I love to play golf and play music in a local band.

I am truly excited about taking ASEC to the next level. The next few years are going to be very exciting. I would like to thank you for your association with ASEC and I certainly look forward to meeting you in the near future.
