HESA Online Cohort II - Zambia

African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC)

The Online Studies course has exposed the Zambia HESA students to new skills in technology, Moodle, and educational knowledge. The Sisters have also realized that the sky is the limit. What seemed impossible is possible.

Featured above are three HESA students from Zambia: Sr. Getrude Daka, Sr. Fiona Maanya and Sr. Auleria Mvula. The three Sisters were working with Mr. Ben Mpolokoso who is the technical professional on-site. The Sisters are happy with their studies and are grateful for their laptops, modems, and materials such as books and PowerPoint notes that were provided during their studies.

They are indebted to the lecturers at Marywood University for the work that has been done during the first semester. The lecturers have been supportive, understanding, and willing to help. The Online Studies course has exposed them to new skills in technology, Moodle, and educational knowledge. The Sisters have also realized that the sky is the limit. What seemed impossible is possible.

The Sisters wanted to say thank you and to express their gratitude to ASEC/SLDI for giving them the sponsorship and opportunity to advance in their studies. Lastly, they wish to thank their Country Project Coordinator, Sr. Maureen Malashya, for all the support and encouragement she has provided them along their educational journey.
