2015 SLDI Faculty Workshop

African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC)

A total of 29 faculty and coordinators were present for the three-day workshop held at Donum Dei Center in Nairobi, Kenya.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct a workshop for SLDI faculty. A total of 29 faculty and coordinators were present for the three-day workshop held at Donum Dei Center in Nairobi, Kenya. Facilitators of the workshop were: Sr. Anne Munley, IHM; Sr. Mary Gitau, Loreto Sisters, who focused on the culture of women religious in Africa; Ms. Augustas Muthigani, National Executive Secretary; and Sr. Jane Wakahiu, LSOSF. Faculty were pleased with the workshop as it was the first time they all gathered to share about their experiences. Also, they reviewed SLDI curriculum.
